The Armadillo is a strange-looking armadillo that attacks Arle in Honoo No Sotsuenji.
Behemoth is a cow-based woman whom is the final of the three exclusive bosses in Madou Monogatari I Honoo No Sotsuenji before Fudoushi and rightfully one of the most difficult. That reason being that she mesmerizes Arle with a dance before attacking, which can be quite difficult for some players to deal with.
After defeat, Behemoth runs off in humiliation that she was beaten by a child.
- Japanese fans find her similar to Rulue; she carries around a fan, has a "noblewoman’s laugh", and is a skilled fighter rather than relying on magic powers. Others think she is also highly like Minotauros as they are both humanoid cows, or possibly a combination of the two characters.
Cauliflower is a variant of Mandrake encountered in Madou Monogatari (Saturn).
He also makes a small appearance in the gamegear version of Madou Monogatari 1. In that version, it turns out he is an illusion.

Dark Matter is the main antagonist of Madou Monogatari: Tower of the Magician. The second time Schezo fights him, he takes control of Wish's body, a similar fate to Arle, Satan, Headmaster, and Klug. He returns in Madou Monogatari: Secret of Elysion, this time taking over the body of Sleeping Princess to fight Arle.
Devil is the main antagonist of Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji. He possesses Headmaster and Fudoushi for their powers similar to Strange Klug, Dark Matter, and Ecolo. He used to be one of Satan's servants but was kicked out and sent to prison due to his arrogant misbehavior.

He first appeared in the PC98 version in replacement of Mamono, and was used in the later remakes with new abilities such as being able to change his size or poison the player. Due to him being more frightening looking, this may be the reason he had never appeared in the actual Puyo Puyo games.
