Rejected or Cancelled Concepts
- Madou Monogatari 0 - A cancelled Madou Monogatari entry that would have covered Arle's birth.
- Puyo Korogashi - A cancelled racing game that was in development around 1995. It was planned for the Mega Drive and then the Sega Saturn.[1]
- Madou Monogatari 2002 - The working title for a cancelled Madou Monogatari entry for the Gameboy Advance[2] that would have starred Prim from Pochi and Nyaa as protagonist. Concept art for various characters planned to be in the game were shared on Twitter by Keiji Uemizu, who had previously worked on multiple Puyo Puyo and Madou Monogatari games.
- Untitled Puyo Puyo fighting game - According to a 2017 interview, a project plan for a Puyo Puyo fighting game was submitted to Sega, but was blocked outright, due to Puyo Puyo having a world where “expressing violent acts like punching are no good”. [3]
