|Puyo Puyo!! Quest information|
Sig is a spacey boy, first introduced in Puyo Puyo Fever 2. Although he is sometimes shown smiling, he lacks emotions through his text, and acts passively toward things, save for his great fascination with insects. His lack of emotion in his speech lead to assumptions that he has some problems emoting. According to Puyo Puyo Fever 2, he derives from the neutral non-evil parts of a demon, and is ignorant of his origins. His left eye is red and his left hand is a large red claw, denoting his demonic heritage.

His most distinct features are his heterochromia and red left arm, which come from his demonic origins. His eyes are blue and red, his left eye being red. Sig has sky blue hair, with hair antennae that seem to be prehensile.
In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, he wore a white and blue long-sleeved shirt with dark blue pants and blue shoes. Light blue ankle socks peek from his shoes. He also carries a large bag on his waist, with a wing clipped on it.
In Puyo Puyo 7, his outfit is a lighter-colored version of the boys' Suzuran school uniform. He keeps his waist bag.
In Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary, he wore a dark blue and white-sleeved t-shirt with a beetle on the front. His pants are a lighter shade of blue, with a white stripe around his knees. His shoes are now white and blue with green soles.
Sig's lacks a lot of emotion, rarely raising his voice and treating everything in a nonchalant manner. This often causes him to talk in a somewhat odd monotone voice. He's also notably rather absent minded, often failing to catch sarcasm or treating metaphors literally. This may stem from how Sig is the "neutral" side of a demon, meaning he lacks the same moral, emotions, or intelligence as a normal person, effectively being a "neutral" slate.
The only thing that motivates him is his love for bugs. Starting with Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary he would often be accompanied by bugs and his motivations would often involve bugs. In particular he's often accompanied by a small ladybug that he loves dearly, to the point he shows genuine fear if it's attacked.
His magic derives from Blue Magic, and as such, all his spells are based on blue colors and blue-colored objects. His attacks include Cyan, Paraiba, Robin's Egg, Lapis lazuli, Celestial and Hydrangea. He also has Cerulean and Lapis Lazuli in Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary.
Puyo Puyo Fever 2
Klug is his first opponent, whom brags to Sig, claiming that his brains will net him a victory.
Lidelle is his second opponent, who requests that Sig goes easy on her.
As a final test, Ms. Accord is the third, and final opponent. After Sig defeats her, she announces that everyone take a break, stadily improving their Puyo popping skills.
After the RunRun Course, Sig goes to to deliver the moonsunflower's observation record to Amitie, since it was her turn to fill out. Having sent her on an errand, Ms. Accord also requested he give a note to Amitie, then he went on his way. He fought the following:
Lidelle noticed Sig walking about, and recognized him from her class. She noticed his antennae twitching, which she thought was odd. Sig then challenged her to a Puyo match.
Sig went back to the forest, feeling peckish. He then smelled soup, which happened to be the smell Gogotte's Special soup. Gogotte told Sig he could have it if he won in a Puyo match, immediately prompting Sig to challenge him.
Ocean Prince encountered Sig near a cave, after attempting to escape from his butler, Otomo. Upon meeting Sig, he immediately asked Sig to become his servant, tempting him with the offer of '3 meals, a nap, and a walk per day'. Sig took him up on the offer. Ocean Prince then remarked that his own servant should be stronger then himself, commencing a Puyo game between the two.
Sig continues his search for Amitie, when Arle crosses his path, requesting a Puyo match. Arle claimes that she may be able to return to her world if she keeps playing against others. She then notices Sig's antennae twitching, much like Rider did, and was wierded out by it. Arle speechless, Sig initiates the Puyo match.
Having traveled out far, he then meets Lemres. Sig attempted to leave right after Lemres greeted him, being stopped by him, Lemres assuming that they were both lost. Lemres suggests the two return to Primp together, to which Sig declines without say, attempting to walk away again. Lemres challenges him to a Puyo match. Sig remarked that Lemres can return alone, should he win. After brutally defeating Lemres, he asks Sig about the note that he's holding. Sig opens it up, to reveal that Lemres was the visitor that Amitie was supposed to guide to Ms. Accord. After grabbing him by the shoulders, then straightening him out like a sheet of cloth, Sig departs, once again.
At the start of the Harahara Course, Ocean Prince (In his human form, as Prince Salde) calls out to Sig, not being recognized at first. He requests that Sig looks for the Lantern of Star, so that Prince Salde may once again turn into a fish, so he may continue to avoid Otomo. They set off on their short journey, as Sig challenges the following:
Sig and Prince Salde venture to the forest, and come across Dongurigaeru. Prince Salde requests that Sig fetches it for him, beliving that it is a regular acorn. Upon being called a mere foodthing, Dongurigaeru ribbits angrily. It then ambushes the two, somehow initiating a Puyo match.
Tarutaru stops Sig and Prince Salde, to ask where Raffine is. Sig claims he doesn't know, to which Tarutaru believes he is lying, due to him smelling like her. He then blocks their way, challenging Sig to a Puyo match.
Yu & Rei
Upon arriving at a haunted house, Prince Salde hides. Sig is then met by Yu & Rei, confronted with a quiz by the two. Sig answers both graveyard-themed questions correctly, netting him a 'Gorgeous Puyo Match', to which Sig cheers about.
After the previous match, Prince Salde rejoins him, as they encounter the Frankensteins. F. Dad scolds the two, claiming that they ought to be more attentive with children(As F. Kid translates). Prince Salde then prompts Sig to challenge the two along, pleasing them. Sig snidely accepts.
Upon meeting Amitie, she questions who Sig has with him. Prince Salde introduces himself, to which Sig then lists the benefits he recieves from being his servant. Amitie questions said benefits, promting Prince Salde to command Sig initiate a Puyo match with her. He gladly does as he requests.
Prince Salde is eager to seek out the "Lantern of Star", asking Baldanders for it's location once he sees it cross his way. Being a dog, Baldanders answers in barks. The barking enrages Prince Salde, to which he accuses Baldanders of wasting his time, since he cannot understand it. He then orders Sig to challenge it to a Puyo match.
At the entrance of the Arca Ruins, Akuma awaits. When the two meet him, he says that what they seek is in the next room, but they must be powerful enough to defeat the dangerous foe within the next room. Akuma initiates a Puyo match with Sig to test his power. After the match, Akuma hands Sig the "Charm of Kumamori", which reads 'Ito Haraito'.
After Sig reads the "Charm of Kumamori", Strange Klug appears, right after having possessed Klug's body. Afterwards, it claims that it's true body is elsewhere. Strange Klug points out Sig's red arm, recognizing him as the descendant of it's other half. Directly after, Prince Salde notices that Strange Klug has the "Lantern of Star" in it's possesion. Prince Salde prompts Sig to challenge it to a Puyo match. Sig stares at his glowing red hand in curiosity, as Strange Klug points out that the "Charm of Kumamori" seemed to prevent it's soul from resonating with Sig's. Strange Klug disregards it, claiming that it can simply disenchant it, once it wins the Puyo match.
Sig wins, and Prince Salde snatches the "Lantern of Star". After it is in his possesion, Ocean Prince then transforms back into a fish. At Strange Klug's dismay, Sig leaves once Ocean Prince calls him to the oceanside, where they say their farewells. Once they say their goodbye's, Ocean Prince swims into the ocean, only to be engulfed by a whale.
Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary
Sig's story in Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary. His opponents in the tournament are as follows:
Sig's first opponent is Onion Pixy. He quickly and angrily tells Sig to give up on Oniko, to which he nonchalantly agrees to. Onion Pixy's still not convinced. Although Sig openly acknowledges that Oniko is Onion Pixy's girlfriend and that he mustn't intrude, Onion Pixy decides to settle the matter through the Puyo match.
Sig's second opponent is Arle, who opens the meeting with a friendly statement. She asks him if he also likes the color blue, to which Sig answers that he does, and that it's the "sky" and the "ocean". Arle is reminded of her world, and expresses that while she likes this world, she's homesick as well. She wonders if she can find a clue in her Puyo matches.
Sig's third opponent is Baldanders, who eagerly greets him. He's bored, but Sig can't play with him as he's in a tournament—neither can anyone else, because they're also busy with the tournament. Sig confirms this with Baldanders and, as their match is coming up, decides to play with him.
Sig's fourth opponent is Suketoudara. Sig, seeing Suketoudara is a fish, wonders if he's Ocean Prince's friend. Suketoudara takes this as his dance not getting popular enough to be known and finds it odd. Sig replies by saying he doesn't dance, but plays Puyo. He proceeds by accidentally upsetting Suketoudara by calling him "Uncle".
Sig's fifth opponent is Ms. Accord. Although Ms. Accord is the one hosting the tournament, she wants to enjoy it as well as test her students. Sig likens this to a pop quiz, and they get started.
Sig's sixth opponent is Lemres, who asks if Sig is hungry and offers him either one of two different candies. Sig wants both, so he chooses neither. They instead have a match.
Sig's seventh opponent is Ocean Prince. Sig feels hungry and remembers that servitude to Ocean Prince grants free meals. Under normal circumstances, this would be the case; the prince claims that tournaments have strict laws, so he can't help him. Sig asks what laws are, to which Ocean Prince responds in befuddlement. He teaches him what laws are, then introduces the tournament "law": that no one shall defeat Ocean Prince or else they will be thrown in the dungeon. Sig considers the dungeon to be a meager punishment and challenges him anyway.
Sig's eighth and final opponent is Rulue, who starts off by wondering where she is. Sig informs her that she's in Primp, a location unbeknownst to her. He asks her who she is, but she declines by saying he's too young to be told. He starts to go, but Rulue cuts him off and introduces herself anyway, though rather graciously. She asks if he knows "her darling" Satan, but he does not. He asks if she's played Puyo on the way here, then brings up Arle. Rulue becomes distressed to know that Arle is in Primp Town as well, and tells Sig that she is her rival. Sig declares that he'll fight for Arle, and the battle ensues.
Sig, now the champion of the tournament, meets with Ms. Accord to receive his medal and make his wish. He wishes for new insects in the forest. Unfortunately, Ms. Accord explains that the medal doesn't like insects, so the wish is denied. When Sig asks why, she adds that the medal doesn't have any hands to drive bugs away. Sig suggests he could catch the bugs, but leaves it at that and accepts the medal's dislike for insects.
