Hoho (previously known as Hohow Bird) is a strange bird that makes his nest near Ta-Toon-Da Castle. He first appeared in Puyo Puyo Fever. In the Japanese versions, all of his voice samples are pronounced by a "Ho Ho", while the English versions have him saying "Mm-hm". His lines in Fever imply that he is just one of an entire species. The Hohow Bird that we follow seems to believe himself a super-cool superhero.
History
Puyo Puyo Fever
In this game, he was the sixth stage of the HaraHara Course, where he dived at Raffina on Zigzag Peak. Raffina dodges the attack though, and Hohow Bird gets mad, claiming she has "skill to dodge our peck attacks like that." Then he claims it's time for Raffina to take her place in the pecking order (the word "Order" is strangely omitted from the voice acting though). A Puyo match results.
Puyo Puyo Fever 2
Hoho is the host of the second to last building, which is used for single player games such as the Endless Tower, Endless Fever, Endless Chu Panic, and standard Endless.
In story mode, he only appears in the HaraHara Courses of Amitie and Raffina.
