Towa is a character introduced in Arc 7 of the Puyo Puyo!! Quest story mode. She is an intern at the Spacetime Detective Agency who currently studies at the College for Detective Work. Her aim is to become a famous detective's sidekick and write mystery novels about said detective's exploits.
Biography
Appearance
Towa is a young woman with bright blue eyes, pale skin and long silver hair with a de-saturated dark purple underside whose top is styled like a bow on the back of her head reaching her legs. On the left side of her bangs, she wears a hair clip consisting of two stripes; one red and one green crossed against one another. Towa wears a red pleated pinafore dress with pink accents, two white buttons where the pleats begin and a teal underside and a short-sleeved cream shirt whose red pleats sport the Spacetime Detective Agency logo with a short blue tie. Her shoes are closed-toe, low cut pumps primarily cream in color with a teal strap and dark grey soles. Underneath them, she wears long white socks.
Towa is seen carrying a green and yellow notepad as well as a primarily red fountain pen with white, green and orange accents with her at all times.
Personality
Towa is a polite, calm person, with a manner of speaking that, despite her outward professionalism, has a childish tinge to it. This childish side of her personality only becomes more apparent when things don't go according to her idealized imaginations of how a mystery-story should proceed, which will often cause her to panic or cry. The supernatural perceptive abilities she was born with have caused her to become a perfectionist, a trait of herself she hates and is trying to mitigate. While she takes pride in being useful to others, she dislikes taking the spotlight away from "real detectives", as this goes against her dream of being like detective sidekicks similar to John Watson.
Abilities
The scion of a long-line of famous detectives, Towa is equipped with all the basic knowledge one needs in this field of work. She was born with supernatural perception that allows her to notice even the slightest changes in her surroundings immediately, which makes her exceptionally skilled at deductive reasoning and cold reading suspects.
Relationships
- Atari
Atari is Towa's senior at the detective agency. While Towa respects Atari's ability to solve cases by thinking outside the box or going with her gut feelings greatly, since this is a skill Towa personally lacks, she often finds herself disappointed with Atari's upbeat, friendly personality, since it does not match the idealized image of a witty, self-centered master detective Towa has in her head.

- Her name may come from reversing the first two characters of Watson ( ワトソン ) as it's written in Japanese.
