Puyo Puyo!! Quest information | |
Mamono (meaning "Demon" in Japanese) is a bird-like monster. Its real name is unknown.
History
Madou Monogatari I
Mamono is the final boss of the MSX and Mega Drive versions of Madou Monogatari I. Before Arle battles the monster, it creates an awful illusion.
It is replaced with Fudoushi in the PC98, Game Gear, and PC-Engine versions.
Puyo Puyo Tsu
Mamono resides on the fourth floor of the tower. After it teleports in, Arle assumes that it is her final opponent due to its threatening looks. When it becomes apparent that this is not the case, the monster bursts into tears.
Trivia
- Mamono is one of the few characters from the first two games whose preview window label does not directly match up to their real name. Its abbreviation is DEMN, presumably for "demon." This is likely due to Mamono not being a name, but a descriptor instead.
