Doppelganger Schezo, known as Dark Schezo in Puyo Puyo!! Quest, is a magical duplicate of Schezo. He first appears as a minor enemy in Madou Monogatari: ARS and later becomes the main antagonist of Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon.
History
Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon
Doppelganger Schezo was created after Schezo's stolen magic power merged with the space-time crystal. As the space-time crystal, he has the ability to warp reality and reform structures. With those powers, he manipulates the structures of Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Land. Upon his defeat, his form becomes unstable and shatters, destroying all of Waku Waku Puyo Land with him. He appears again in Puyo Puyo Box, but how he survived his destruction at the hands of Arle, Schezo, and Rulue is unknown.
Puyo Puyo Box
Doppelganger Schezo is a potential opponent in Puyo Puyo Box's Scramble mode. He uses the Puyo Puyo rule.
Puyo Puyo!! Quest
On April 25th, 2022, "Dark Schezo" was added to Puyo Puyo!! Quest as a ★7 card. Dark Schezo is heavily implied to be a redesigned version of Doppelganger Schezo, as many references to Doppelganger Schezo's role in Waku Waku Puyo Puyo Dungeon are present in his artwork and effects.
