November 24, 1995Madou Monogatari A: Doki Doki Vaca~tion (魔導物語Ａ － ドキドキばけ～しょん) is a remake of of the A chapter from Madou Monogatari: ARS for the Game Gear. It is a first-person dungeon crawler developed by Compile and features a different story than the original Madou Monogatari: ARS game.
Story
Arle is visiting her grandmother during her summer vacation and exploring the forest surrounding her house. Arle soon catches wind of a construction company headed by Satan attempting to raze the forest to make room for a recreational area. In order to protect the forest, Arle sets off to take on Satan's crew. Skeleton-T, Sasori Man, and Suketoudara make a cameo in the intro as some of Satan's construction staff, chasing Arle into the forest and beginning the game.
Gameplay
Madou Monogatari: A Doki Doki Vaca~tion follows the same first-person dungeon-crawler format as most other Madou Monogatari games.
