How to read the "Chants" section of the character pages (currently incomplete)
- Player Chain
It plays when the player is chaining. In the Compile-era games and classic voice pattern of the post-Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary games, plays one by one to the 1st to 7th chains, and repeat the voice of the 7th (5th in Puyo Puyo (1992) and Puyo Puyo rule of Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary and Puyo Puyo Chronicles) chain after the 8th/6th chain.
- Introduced in Puyo Puyo Fever. When the number of chains is 6 or more, The Repeater voice is played multiple times before the spells, and the beginning of the spell is duplicated by the number of plays. (e.g. Arle's "Diacute", Amitie's "Accelerate", etc.)
- Introduced in Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary. A Counterattack cut-in is added when you finished the offset and send the Nuisance Puyos to the enemy field, and the normal spells become Counter spell. (e.g. Ringo's "Right back at you!", Satan/Dark Prince's "Are you even trying?", etc.)
- Introduced in Puyo Puyo Fever. In Fever-style voice pattern, the final chain always contains one of these. In classic-style voice pattern, plays these voices in numerical order after the third chain.
