History
Madou Monogatari series
Jarne debuted as a random enemy in Madou Monogatari 2, and is also an enemy in the Saturn Madou Monogatari.
Nazo Puyo
Jarne appears in Nazo Puyo: Arle no Roux, and the remake of the game featured in Super Nazo Puyo: Rulue no Roux.
Puyo Puyo!! Quest
Jarne is available as a blue card, added on November 13 2013 as the exclusive reward for the Girls Rush 2 event. She is in the same series as Panotty, Chico and Incubus, having similarly distributed skills and stats.
Trivia
- Her catchphrase is "Ja-ja-ja-jaan!"
- Jarne appears in Nazo Puyo, but not in a "mainline" Puyo Puyo game. As Nazo Puyo is part of the overall Puyo Puyo series, she is still considered a Puyo Puyo character and is thus owned by Sega.
- In Arle no Roux and Madou Monogatari (Saturn), her name was spelled ジャーン in Japanese.
- Her name is alternatively romanized as Jan (Puyo Puyo 25th Anniversary Book, as well as the original fan-preferred romanization), Jarn (her 4-letter abbreviation in Arle no Roux's level select, as well as internal files for Puyo Puyo!! Quest, and Jarnne (Rulue no Roux's manual).
