Sinoc's Factory Fever! is the fifth installment in the series of Puyo Puyo fangames from Soph. It was written in 2004 and completed in 2005. It is the first of the series to include fever mode from Puyo Puyo Fever. This game was aided again by the SFTeam, now with Waddler-D an active member.

Graphics and Effects

Sinoc's Factory Fever! was Sinoc's first effort at making the graphics entirely by herself. While they are quite poor by later standards, it marked the start of graphical development over the next few years. Although, the characters in the game that are from Puyo Puyo use sprites from the official games. It features several different boards, and the music is mainly from Puyo Puyo Fever.

Gameplay

Sinoc's Factory Fever! has mechanics similar to Puyo Puyo Fever. There are quite a few errors in the mechanics which set it apart from the official game. The erasing and falling are also the incorrect speeds, and there is a very badly implemented squishing effect (some graphics cards will not show the pieces at all when enabled). There is only one nuisance tray and garbage does not fall at all in fever mode. A player could gain a maximum of sixty seconds of time and the chains in fever only dropped by one if it was failed. Sinoc's Factory Fever! also offers a 4 player mode.

Another element of gameplay are the character specials. These are highly unbalanced and are best disabled. Every character has a special ability that can be activated with the UP key. Most specials cost one point, although some cost more. The most broken special which is known by all Sinoc's Factory Fever! players is the one that belongs to Councillor Croxton. His special causes the opponent to receive over a comet of garbage from a single chain, which makes beating him nearly impossible. Until the re-release in 2008 it was impossible to disable specials in stage mode.

Sinoc's Factory Fever! was the first game in the series to have a Stage Mode with cutscenes. The cutscenes were relatively simple but it portrayed a story which involved Tarutaru as the main character.

There are quite a few game modes in Sinoc's Factory Fever!, including Hard Puyo, Point Puyo, Sun Puyo, Bomb Puyo, Sapphire Puyo and Ruby Puyo.

A known problem by many in the official release of Sinoc's Factory Fever! is a saving error with controls. They would mess up and misalign themselves. This was finally fixed in the 2008 re-release, along with an error in the menus.
