Mix-up Summons (まぜまぜ召喚) lets players have the chance to obtain new cards by sacrificing other cards following specific requirements. The functionality is added to Puyo Puyo!! Quest from 2019/08/05.

Mix-up Summons Basics

Mix-up Summons button on the Gacha menu

Mix-up Summons can be accessed from the Gacha (ガチャ) menu. The general steps include:

  1. Tap on the Select Cards (カードをえらぶ) on the summons that you want to use
  2. Pick the cards you wish to use in the summons from a card list (filtered to only usable cards)
  3. Tap the red Confirm (決定) after selecting the required number of cards
  4. Tap OK on the confirmation dialogue box after checking
Carbuncle mixing a curry pot, as part of the Mix-up Summons cutscene

After a cutscene in which Carbuncle mixes the selected cards in a curry pot, the newly summoned card pops out from the pot and is put into the player's inventory. The cards that were used are destroyed and cannot be retrieved.

The output card:

  • will not be any of the cards that were used
  • inherits all attached Plus Bonus from the input cards (but if total Plus Bonus exceeds +100 in any stat, the excess is discarded)
  • will be reverted to Card Lv. 1, Skill Lv. 0, Battle Skill Lv. 0 and no Special Training regardless of levels of the input cards
  • is not guaranteed to never-before-obtained by the player

The confirmation dialogue box will explicitly warn the player with red text if:

  • any selected card has at least Skill Lv.1 and/or Battle Skill Lv.1
  • any selected card has at least one tier commited in Special Training Board
  • any selected card has at least one step commited in ★7 Transform Board
  • any selected card is currently used in Cheering Deck
  • the selected cards have total Plus Bonus exceeding the +100 limit in any stat
