Schezo Wegey/History
Madou Monogatari series
He first appears in Madou Monogatari 2, where he attempts to obtain Arle's magic power. His role in the game differs between platforms, however.
In the MSX version, Arle asks him what he wants with her and he responds that he wants her magic power. Arle is warped to a dungeon shortly afterwards. Arle runs into Schezo again, but she defeats him this time.
In the PC-9801 version, Arle calls Schezo a pervert before she is warped to a dungeon. Arle manages to decapitate him during her battle with him later in the game, but his head continues to fight and must be defeated again.
In the Game Gear version, he reappears several times after Arle defeats him, more exhausted than the last. His final appearance is right before the fight with Satan, intervening his proposal, but is ultimately defeated by his hands.
In the prequel story Madou Monogatari: ARS, a 14 year old Schezo wanders away from a school excursion at the ancient ruins of Rana to follow a voice that called out to him. This leads to him getting pulled into a mirror, transporting him to a labyrinth that he must escape. During the game he learns dark magic such as the spell "Areiado" and acquires the Dark Sword, which he must fight first to prove he is worthy of wielding it.
At the end of the game he encounters Runelord, an old dark mage whose body was destroyed 200 years previously by a hero in the ruins, but his spirit lives on. He wants Schezo to become his successor, which he is disgusted by and he claims he will never be like him. The two fight and Schezo emerges victorious, destroying his spirit. However, before he vanishes, Runelord tells him that darkness already lives inside him now. Schezo's fate is sealed by the magic he has learned.
After escaping the labyrinth, Schezo's attitude has changed. He boasts about his newfound power and vows to become the strongest dark mage in history.

He stars as the protagonist in Madou Monogatari: Tower of the Magician, where he, Witch, and Tenori Zoh all set out on a dungeon crawling adventure of their own.
Schezo comes across a story in a library involving Witch's grandmother Wish and Dark Matter, an evil mage. Fifty years ago, Dark Matter attempted to take over the world but was stopped by Wish, killing him in battle. Wish was hurt in the battle and began to live quietly in a tower. Schezo decides that he wants to steal Wish's power and goes to infiltrate her tower.

Before battling Satan, he rests his sword on the sun-enlarging device and uses the heated edge to burn a bald spot into Satan's hair, resulting in them physically fighting in the ending.
Alternatively, he is the penultimate opponent in the Normal course, and is bested by Arle just before he can reach Satan.
Puyo Puyo~n
Schezo attempts to take Arle's magic power while she is searching for Carbuncle with Draco, Witch, Seriri, and Chico. When Schezo is defeated, the gang continue their search, leaving him behind despite his protests.
Puyo Puyo Box
Schezo appears sleeping on a bridge, blocking the path until Arle covers him in Skeleton-T's tea, causing him to fall and float away down the river. He is later found in a cave, where you can fight him naked as he dries off.
In Rally Mode, he will always appear with SUN rules as the ninth opponent in the 10 Stage course. In the 30 Stage course, he will appear as the twenty-sixth opponent using YON rules.
Minna de Puyo Puyo
Schezo appears in Minna de Puyo Puyo (Puyo Pop) in the final 3 stages: Magical Tower, Dark Prince's Castle, and Trial Labyrinth.
Every time he is fought, the Puyo fields start off with the stair-like well pattern of Hard Puyo.
Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary
Schezo is warped to Primp Town along with other original Puyo characters and enters the tournament by accident. At the end of his story, he wishes that everyone would stop calling him a pervert. However, the loophole in his wish means that he can still be called similar words, just not pervert specifically.
Puyo Puyo 7
Schezo is warped to Ringo's world and ends up in Egypt. By the time Ringo and Amitie find him, he is starving and attempts to ask for their food, instead saying "I want you!" to the pair. After they take his words the wrong way, he challenges them to a Puyo battle for their food but loses. Ringo offers him food regardless but he declines out of anger of being called a pervert.
Puyo Puyo!! 20th Anniversary
Schezo's Story
Schezo finds a cave to reside in but finds his peace constantly interrupted.
Klug
Schezo's first opponent is Klug, who enters the cave shortly after his arrival to collect crystals that amplify magical power. Schezo tells him to leave as he has already claimed the cave for himself, but Klug refuses, leading to a Puyo battle. Klug's loss causes him to cry and run out of the cave.
Sig
Schezo's second opponent is Sig. Sig has chased a bug into the cave and rummages through Schezo's belongings to find it. When he can't find it, he accuses Schezo of having it, who challenges him to a Puyo battle to throw him out. Sig spots the bug again and leaves.
Risukuma
Schezo's third opponent is Risukuma, who sets off an explosion in the cave from a science experiment. Schezo finds Risukuma's appearance cute, but states that no one can interrupt his quiet time. Risukuma leaves after their battle.
Carbuncle
Schezo's fourth opponent is Carbuncle. After Risukuma leaves, Schezo notices an unnaturally intense storm has begun outside. While he questions the cause, Carbuncle appears without Arle. Schezo wonders where she is, and says it wouldn't be good if something happens to her before he obtains her power. Schezo wants Carbuncle to lead him to Arle and the two battle. Carbuncle runs away after with Schezo in pursuit.
Arle
Schezo's fifth opponent is Arle. Schezo follows Carbuncle to Arle, who is concerned by Satan building a castle and likely causing the storm. When Schezo declares that he will punish Satan for getting on his nerves once again, Arle says she was planning to do that anyway. Both of them insist that they are stronger than the other and will take him down, and battle to prove it. When Arle loses, she still tags along as backup.
Ringo
Schezo's sixth opponent is Ringo. When Schezo and Arle approach her, she immediately calls Schezo a pervert. Despite both Schezo and Arle clarifying that he only wants Arle's power, Ringo insists that it still sounds dodgy. Schezo ignores her and challenges her to a battle. She calls him a pervert when she leaves, and he curses the fact that he is stuck with the label.
Rulue
Schezo's seventh opponent is Rulue, who blocks the way to Satan's castle. Schezo ignores her dramatic tone and says a simple Puyo battle will solve the problem. Rulue demands that Schezo livens things up, and so he dramatically declares that he will smite her to proceed. Arle watches from the sidelines and comments that she didn't think Schezo would get so into it. After the battle, Rulue produces a lengthy speech praising Satan and apologizing for failing him. Schezo and Arle decide to leave her.
Satan
Schezo's eigth and final opponent is Satan. Schezo and Arle arrive at the castle Satan has created for Arle. While Schezo and Satan clash, Arle calls the heart-filled room tacky and declines Satan's offer of staying there with him. Schezo demands that Satan end the storm, but he refuses, leading to the final battle between them. After Satan loses, Arle too demands that he destroys the castle and ends the storm.
While Satan is upset over his loss, Schezo senses a "black shadow". This is revealed to be Ecolo, who comments on Schezo's sharp senses to himself and laughs.

He appeared in the story beforehand, teaming up with Arle during her episode to help investigate. He appeared again in Lemres' episode to inform Lemres that the person who lent their magic could not be Satan or Ecolo, but Sig.
His episode follows his own investigation of the Dream World as he pursues Meena for her magical power. Although she tries to ward him off by using illusions of Arle, Rulue, and Satan to fulfill his dream of battling strong opponents, he manages to catch up with her and nearly takes her power before Sig appears to defend her.
