ARS Trio

The ARS Trio is the name given to the trio of protagonists in a given world. Essentially, each of the three main characters must start with one of the three letters A-R-S.

• The origin of the naming scheme comes from Madou Monogatari: ARS, a prequel to Madou Monogatari 123 that showcased Arle, Rulue and Schezo's pasts.

• Currently, all A members are female (Arle, Amitie, Ringo, Atari, Ally and Aline).

• Currently, the number of male and female members is the same for R members: three are are female (Rulue, Raffina and Rafisol), and three are are male (Risukuma, Roquier and Ralph).

• A majority of S members are male (Schezo, Sig, Maguro, and Suketoudara). Currently, Seo is the only S member that is female.

• The ARS Trio from the World of Sorcery and the ARS Trio from Primp Town share a few similarities with each other:
  • Both Arle and Amitie are gifted spellcasters.
  • Both Rulue and Raffina are martial artists who are natrually unable to cast magic. However, Raffina is able to use magic via her Pouch.
  • Both Schezo and Sig are related to an ancient evil, the Runelord and the Crimson Spirit respectively.

• The ARS Trio from Suzuran is the only trio whose surnames count towards the ARS naming scheme and not their given names.

• The ARS Trio from the Book World is the only trio that isn't complete. While Ally and Rafisol does follow the ARS naming scheme, there is currently no member that fill the S position.

• The ARS Trio from Primi Town is the only trio who adds a pre-existing character into the ARS naming scheme, the character being Suketoudara.
