Draude III Bloodmoon Draude III

Draude III, the Vampire of Legends, is a proud descendant from a family of vampires. He is hospitable and speaks in a very friendly manner, which is said to be in contrast of his intimidating and graceful stature. He struggles against sunlight, and as such, is only active during the night. However, he enjoys his nocturnal lifestyle. His body craves tomato juice, and he enjoys drinking it with others. He is able to control bats, which he uses to find him fresh tomatoes. His tomato juice recipe is top secret. Draude strongly dislikes the abundant misinformation about vampires, which causes others to be afraid of him. To dispell misconceptions, he wishes to one day hold a ball where he can dance with everyone on Pwurp Island.

Draude has many powers typical of other vampires. As well as being able to control bats, he has the power to manipulate other people by having them look into his eyes, but he's unsure how exactly to use it. He's said to enjoy soaring through the night sky. Additionally, Draude's power is said to strengthen on the nights of a blood moon.

Trivia

  • Draude III claims that he has low blood pressure.
  • His favorite food is spaghetti aglio e olio.
    • Ironically, he likes this dish prepared with lots of garlic, something that's typically depicted with the ability to repel vampires.[1]

    • He keeps a garlic patch and a tomato garden where he grows his own ingredients.
      • He also grows pumpkins in this garden.
  • Draude recommends a coffin for sleeping, which may imply that he sleeps in one himself.
  • Draude III is based off of Count Dracula, the fictional vampire introduced in Bram Stoker's 1987 novel.
    • He is named after Vlad the Impaler, or Vlad III, a historical figure who served as the inspiration for Count Dracula.
  • Draude III was introduced in Puyo Puyo!! Quest 8 days before Puyo Puyo!! Quest Arcade began operation as a way of promoting the latter game.

Margin

Margin, the Fishperson of Legends, is a half-human and half-fish creature that was born in the river. He is confident and a swimming pro, although his defining personality trait is his insatiable curiosity. He can also be quite airheaded. As a child, he would often wonder if he was more akin to a human or fish, though the answer is neither. He also struggled with his backstroke and used to be nervous about swimming in the sea due to its size, though as a young adult he has conquered these weaknesses. After satisfying his curiosity regarding the sea and exploring multiple oceans, he is also shown to be curious about dolphins, whales, surfing, the bottom of the ocean, and the difference between himself and mermaids. He has the ability to walk on land, but this tends to exhaust him.

Trivia

  • Margin's scales, in addition to being beautiful, are said to have a mysterious power that can draw out hidden strength.
  • Margin is based off of a Merperson.
  • Margin may be named after a sahuagin, a humanoid fish creature from Dungeons & Dragons.[2]

Lyca Moonlight Lyca

Lyca, the Werewolf of Legends, is a young lycanthrope who shapeshifts into a werewolf during the night. During the day, he is gentler as a result of his human characteristics, but during the night he displays more a more wolf-like nature. He has a high sense of loyalty and will do anything to rush to the protection of those he cares about. He deeply values the bonds between people and wishes to never bring dishonor to his family. As a young adult, he has mastered techniques passed down from his family, who are also likely lycanthropes. He has a great sense of smell and is confident in his assessments of others. He likes to howl.

Lyca's power is said to be amplified on nights of a full moon. As a full moon draws near, he becomes restless and itchy, and states that he has trouble sleeping on nights of a full moon. During these nights, his wolf blood awakens, and he becomes confident and fearless. However, his heart that values those close to him remains. He owns a necklace that, when worn, bestows upon him the same strength that a full moon would. It's likely that this necklace is a family heirloom passed through generations of lycanthropes.

Greap Santa Greap Made Guide Greap

Greap, the Reaper of Legends, is a young grim reaper tasked with various day-to-day jobs in the Underworld. He is receptive, caring, and dedicated to his work. He's been practicing as a grim reaper ever since he was a child, and while he used to be inexperienced and clueless to the duties of a reaper, he is now skilled and diligent at his job. He says many things that are typical of a salaryman. Originally, his only task was making sure living beings don't mistakenly enter the Underworld, but he was later promoted to a reception position, and now is even allowed to escort souls through the Underworld. On occasion, he's even been appointed to serve as Santa Claus during the holiday season. He recognizes the importance of breaks, and seems to dislike needing to work overtime. He enjoys observing others.

Made Guide Greap

Due to his efforts being noticed by his superiors, Greap was promoted to be his boss's Made Man. This was his first "on-site" job where he was allowed to guide souls through the Underworld. While he is professional and full of energy in this role, he is also notably nervous, as he worries about whether or not he can pull it off. But ultimately, he wants to make his superiors proud, and is excited about the new position. While this alternate costume's placement in time is uncertain, Greap's Special Training Theater implies that guiding souls through the Underworld is now part of his normal operations.
