Floré

The Angels (天使) are a series of 5 characters introduced in Puyo Puyo!! Quest. They are a group of young angels who run the Student Council of the Academy of Light (光の学園), an all-angel school located on Pwurp Island. Despite being based on supernatural Angels, they are not celestial beings, as the Academy of Light is located on the surface. While each Angel is initially depicted with two wings, later card rarities show them gaining a second pair. The Student Council members cooperate well with each other, but since they are somewhat self-minded, they often find it hard to come to a consensus on decisions.

The Dark Angel Series was introduced later as a parallel to the Angel Series. As the Student Council members of the Academy of Darkness, they have a friendship and rivalry with the Angels of the Academy of Light. Together, their schools have held joint festivals and Student Council debates.

Floré

Floré is the President of the Academy of Light's Student Council. She has a strong sense of responsibility as the Student Council's President and takes everything seriously, striving to be a role model. Floré considers it her duty to listen to the opinions of other students and provide them with a happy school life, and takes pride in the Academy of Light's vitality. As she has a noble air about her and speaks coldly, students outside of the Student Council have a hard time getting along with her. Her perfect appearance has garnered a high level of respect from the student body, but she can be surprisingly naive and forgetful, a fact which she hopes others havent noticed. As a result of her forgetfulness, she often misplaces items of hers. She also has an innocent side to her, as she secretly likes cute things, and she anticipates the arrival of Santa on Christmas more than anyone else. She places her confidence in others and encourages that they work without her help, but is willing to help those she believes are working hard enough. She is capable of scolding others for behavior that is unbecoming of the academy. The student body claims that seeing a smile from her is rare.

As Angelic Healer Floré, her strong desire to better lead the Academy has created a Healing Heart (癒しのハート) and granted her new power. Hers is titled the Heart of Dignity. In this form, she is willing to take a more supportive role, and speculates on whether her seriousness is enough to set the right example for the student body.

Trivia

Floré has attracted a secret fanclub with high enrollment due to admiration from the Academy's student body.
She owns a cushioned chair which she keeps in the Student Council room.
Floré's Active Skill name, Vas-y Fonce, is a French phrase meaning "go for it".

Ciel

Ciel is the Treasurer of the Academy of Light's Student Council. She is almost robotic in nature, being able to provide an accurate answer for nearly every question asked of her. Ciel views everything purely from a pragmatic standpoint, from the clothes she wears to her daily tasks. She has an immunity to tricks and lies thanks to her near-perfect memory and is excessively punctual. When asked what she does for enjoyment, she claims that she finds happiness from her calculations and accounting. She does possess some care for others, feeling honored when others find her work helpful and wishing to help others with their troubles. She is overly self confident, believing that her calculations are never wrong. She has been working to try to express herself more, attempting to partake in and enjoy conversations, but she still usually remains expressionless. However, her expression does change when she is surprised. She believes that conversing with others helps her own efficiency.

As Angelic Healer Ciel, her strong desire to maintain the Academy's order has created a Healing Heart (癒しのハート) and granted her new power. Hers is titled the Heart of Discipline. She is surprised she was able to create a Healing Heart, as she believed she was incapable of such strong emotions. She believes she could use her power to more efficiently run the school's infirmary.

She appears as a playable character in Puyo Puyo Champions.

Ciel keeps something in her school bag that's shocking to Abyss.
Ciel's Active Skill name, Refaire Sa Vie, is French for "start a new life".
- Ciel has several new spells in Puyo Puyo Champions.
  - Her 3rd spell, Clause Pénale, translates from French to "penalty clause".
  - Her 4th spell, L'addition de Ange, roughly translates from French to "Bill of the Angel".
  - Her 5th spell, Bouclier de Ange, translates from French to "Shield of the Angel".
Make Up Ciel, as a part of Puyo Puyo!! Quest's Sailor Moon collab, is based off of the character Sailor Mercury.

Roco

Roco is the Secretary of the Academy of Light's Student Council. She is always friendly and constantly smiling, which makes other students feel comforted around her. However, her level-headed mind is what binds the zany members of the Student Council together, serving as the calming voice of reason. She tries to treat everyone equally and can get along with just about anyone, no matter how eccentric. Roco is reliable and always eager to help others, making it her mission to cheer up those around her. While she is a natural and tender arbitrator, she can also be a bit pushy at times. She cares for the other Angels and vouches for them, but also thinks that they push themselves too hard. Roco sometimes jumps to conclusions. She is a diligent notetaker who is always leaving memos for herself. She refers to her female classmates using the "chan" honorific. She ends many of her sentences using music notes.

As Angelic Healer Roco, her strong desire to ensure the happiness of everyone at the Academy has created a Healing Heart (癒しのハート) and granted her new power. Hers is titled the Heart of Smiles. She believes that her Heart represents her feelings for everyone, and so Roco says she must cherish it.

Lux is the Vice President of the Academy of Light's Student Council. He has a calm and gentle personality, and exudes an air of elegance. His noble demeanor is enough to draw the attention of others to him whenever he speaks. No matter the situation, he prefers to quietly watch over others with a smile, choosing not to assert himself or participate in any work. While this gives others the impression he doesn't do anything, but he dissuades people from believing this is true. However, he is said to always be one step behind everyone else, and frequently tries to take secret breaks, but usually gets noticed by Roco. He is usually relaxing while others are working, to the point where it startles others when he is seen diligently training. Other students often come to him for advice, as he is good at assessing others, and Floré vouches that his teachings rival the Academy's best. He is an avid tea drinker, enjoying several types from black tea to herbal tea to special Christmas blends. There are rumors that Lux is masking his true thoughts behind the smile he always wears. His carefree nature leads him to be bad at keeping track of things. He starts or ends many of his sentences with a soft laugh. Lux is unable to tell when people are being sarcastic.

Abyss is the Public Morals Committee member of the Academy of Light's Student Council. He has a strict disposition, handling everything with the utmost seriousness, to the point of being pragmatic. It's said that his stern expression never seems to change. He has high expectations of those around him, and his commitment to creating a perfectly well-behaved environment and upholding the Academy's honor is what keeps the Academy of Light in order. However, Abyss holds himself to even higher expectations. This leads him to be a clean freak, as he stresses over his hair and wrinkles in his uniform, and places dusting as a high priority. He spends his breaks refining his appearance. However, Abyss also has a bashful side, as he makes an effort not to let others know when he's enjoying himself. He believes that following the rules and enjoying school life are intimately linked, and he is unrelenting towards those who break school rules. He performs duties such as routine bag checks and curfew enforcement. As a result of his uptight personality, he can have a hard time unwinding during special events like parties, breaks, and holidays, though he makes an effort not to bring others down.

Trivia

Usually, the real-world Student Council and the Public Morals Committee are two separate clubs. However, Abyss is only stated to be the Student Council's Public Morals Committee member. It is unknown whether Abyss is the sole enforcer of school rules or part of a wider organization.
Floré remarks that no matter how early she arrives to school, Abyss is always there before her.
Abyss's Active Skill name, Crois En Moi, is French for "believe in me".
Seaside Abyss's Active Skill name, Bains De Mer, roughly translates from French to "sea bathing".

Within the Angels

Floré and Roco: They are often seen spending their lunch break together. Roco has made sandwiches for the two in the past, and she has been shown to jump to Floré's aid when Roco believed she was in trouble.
Floré and Lux: Floré believes in the capabilities of her Vice President, believing that his teaching is the best in the entire school, a claim which Lux downplays. However, Floré worries that he takes too much time slacking off, and isn't above often scolding him over it. She appreciates when he is being helpful.
Ciel and Roco: Roco is familial enough with Ciel to feel comfortable in trying to tickling her, in an attempt to make Ciel laugh. She has done this enough to know that Ciel is weaker to tickling on her left side. However, Ciel feels guilty as she isn't ticklish and doesn't react, so she wishes to practice laughing for Roco, demonstrating her own level of care. Roco does things to try and see Ciel's expressions, to Ciel's mild annoyance. Roco also takes great joy in observing Ciel sleep, something which is rare for her. Roco is also able to tell what Ciel is truly feeling behind her robotic facade.

With the Dark Angels

Due to an initiative for both Academies to grow closer, the members of the Academy of Light Student Council are all familiar with the members of the Academy of Darkness Student Council.

Floré and Edgar: The two have a mutual respect as the Presidents of their repsective Student Councils. Edgar believes Floré to be a skilled leader who is responsible for much of the Academy of Light's lively atmosphere. Edgar wishes to deepen the friendship and rivalry between their two schools, and while Floré is skeptical of him, she is willing to cooperate for the betterment of her academy. Floré feels that she doesn't know Edgar as well as the other students from the Academy of Darkness.
Ciel and Patri: They are both the Treasurers of their Student Councils. When Patri solves a math problem that Ciel was struggling with, she expresses frustration and jealousy towards him, though she denies that these feelings were expressed. However, she is still impressed by his intellect. She believes that her interactions with Patri has enhanced her ability to solve equations, a claim which Patri feels honored towards.
Roco and Maurice: The two share a job as Secretaries for their Student Councils. Roco wishes to help Maurice better manage the zany personalities of the Student Council of the Academy of Darkness, which is something she has experience doing within her own Student Council. However, after conversing with her, Maurice believes Roco to be quite the eccentric person.
Abyss and Nina: The two are the Disciplinary Committee members of their respective Student Councils. Abyss' rigid personality clashes with Nina's lax observance of dress codes. However, after Nina impulsively states Abyss doesn't understand fashion, he makes an uncharacteristic effort to appear fashionable and trendy in front of Nina, indicating a level of admiration towards her.
