PPQ:Card Strengthening

Card Strengthening (カード強化) is the collective term for methods which players can actively make their cards more powerful in Puyo Puyo!! Quest.

Strengthening Methods

Strengthening Menu

Strengthening Menu (強化メニュー) is the portal for players to access Card Strengthening methods for a specific base card. It is mainly accessed through the Strengthening (強化) section under the Card menu.

Strengthening Card Select card list

In the Strengthening section, the player will be asked to select the card to be strengthened in the Strengthening Card Select (強化カード選択)　screen. Depending on the cards, materials and items in possession, each card may have one of the following icons on its top-left corner:

Icon	Meaning
(no icon)	Either the card is already at its maximum rarity, or there is not enough transformation materials to transform into the next rarity
	There are enough transformation materials to transform into the next rarity, but the card is not at maximum level and there are not enough Material Puyos to power up to maximum level
	There are enough transformation materials to transform into the next rarity, plus enough Material Puyos to power up to maximum level first (if needed)
	There are enough transformation materials to transform into multiple next rarities, plus enough Material Puyos to power up to maximum level first and in between rarities
	There are enough transformation materials, duplicate cards and/or items to transform up to ★7 rarity, plus enough Material Puyos to power up to maximum level first and in between rarities

Other than accessing from the Strengthening section, the Strengthening Menu for a specific card can also be opened from the "Card Strengthening" (カード強化) button on the card details screen when opened from certain locations.
