Power-up Fusion (パワーアップ合成) is the system to combine at most five cards at one time into a base card, giving it card experience/levels, plus bonuses and skill experience/levels.

Card Experience/Levels

Card experience (カード経験値) are required to raise a card's card level (カードレベル), which gives stats increments. The amount of experience earned is correlated with the fused cards' rarity, level and type. Material cards, in particular Material Puyo, gives much higher experiences (at least 5 times) than normal character cards, and is recommended as the primary feed. Outside of fusion, card experience are also given to all cards you bring when clearing Adventure Map levels.

Experience Gain

  • Special materials like Puyo Ice, Grimoire give equal EXP as normal cards in Power-up Fusion
  • Exclusive transformation materials for specific event characters give equal EXP as Material Puyo cards in Power-up Fusion, with certain specified exceptions
  • In addition to the base value, the following bonuses can apply
    • 1.5× EXP if base and fused cards are of the same color
    • 2× EXP if base and fused cards are the exact same card (rarity and character) (same-color bonus not applied)
    • 1.5× EXP if the fusion is a Big Success (大成功)
