Kazunari Yonemitsu (米光一成, Yonemitsu Kazunari) is a former writer and director for Compile. After his departure in 1992, he helped to found the game company Sting.
Biography
Yonemitsu worked on several significant Compile titles such as Madoushi Lulba, Madou Monogatari 1-2-3, and Puyo Puyo. He served as the head of the company's planning department for a time, but left in 1992 due to disagreements with the president.[1]
He went on to help establish Sting Entertainment, but now writes books on game design philosophy and works as a professor at Digital Hollywood University.
