Edgar

The Dark Angels (闇の天使) are a series of 5 characters introduced in Puyo Puyo!! Quest. They are a group of adolescent dark angels that run the Student Council of the Academy of Darkness (闇の学園), a school of dark angels. They were introduced as counterparts to the Angel Series. Despite being inspired by mythological angels (and possibly the concept of fallen angels), they are not celestial beings. This, coupled with their rivalry with the Academy of Light, could imply that the Academy of Darkness is located near their rival school on the surface of Pwurp Island. Unlike the Angels, the Dark Angels retain one pair of wings in their latter card rarities. However, those wings grow to a size much larger than those of the Angels. Edgar chose all of the members of the Student Council himself.

Edgar

Edgar is the President of the Academy of Darkness' Student Council. He is polite and usually smiling, and his charisma makes him popular among the students of the Academy of Darkness. He is also well-known for his elegant demeanor. However, Edgar's own self-confidence gives him a peremptory tone, valuing his input above others and placing importance in his presence. Believing he must make an impression on others, he places value in flair. He is confident in his physical abilities and his ability to be decisive. Much of Edgar's actions are dedicated towards creating the "ideal school", and he admires the Academy of Light, as he believes they are well put together. As he makes most of the decisions for the Student Council, he finds no trouble in being persuasive when he must. However, this can sometimes be problematic, as many of Edgar's decisions are outlandish in nature. Despite his peremptory personality, Edgar places absolute faith in the abilities of others around him. He often makes philosophical remarks on subjects. He can struggle with accepting rules.

Edgar's Active Skill name, Confiance en Soi, is French for "self-confidence".
