Call me a Gogotte enjoyer, port(good or bad) enjoyer, whatever you're thinking of. I'm a Brazilian Puyo Puyo enjoyer who first appeared into the community back in 2018.
I tend to enjoy loads of other franchises(let alone other puzzle game series like Magical Drop and Mr. Driller), too! Mega Man, Castlevania, Kirby, Klonoa, Street Fighter, KOF, 'Smash Bros.', you name it.
I used to be an avid Puyo Puyo fan who started with the SNES/MD games that looked for improvement and bigger chains and discussed all kinds of lore and gameplay mechanics, but I rarely play Puyo nowadays. My current favorite games are TSU, Puyo Fever 1, Puyo 15th, 7 and Puyo Tetris 1, and my #1 favorite character is Gogotte(with "Malt" being my nickname for him), even to this day. Maguro, Schezo are also my favorite characters. I do think almost every character is great, however.
I tend to talk about all kinds of stuff, whether if it's about the game feel, mechanical depth of each Puyo game, sales or the lore. I tend to focus more on the obscure stuff that nobody(or not many people) talked about when it comes to Puyo. No matter if it's about the lore or the gameplay mechanics, I tend to love Puyo a lot!
While I still do play Puyo Fever 2 DS once in a while, I tend to play TSU, Puyo 4/YON and Puyo Fever 1 more often nowadays. I may come back to 15th, 7 or PPT1 + 2 soon!
My current hobby is to translate some DS-exclusive Puyo Fever 2 stuff.
To-Do
- Add DS Puyo Fever 1 win quotes
- Add the unlock conditions for 'Gallery Mode'-related stuff + fix the unlock conditions for the Minigames in Puyo Fever 2
- Add the Puyo Puyo Fever 2 sales reports(DS + PS2 + PSP sales combined) in every page that has the sales mention in each game's trivia
- Add some obscure Puyo bugs(Fever 2 or otherwise)
- Add some more stuff in Gogotte's page(ex: his win and lose sprites)
