Competitive Player

A Competitive Player is one who plays Puyo Puyo competitively; that is, competes with other players in a professional manner. Puyo Puyo has a lot of competitive potential, but also has a deceptive and steep learning curve that prevents most beginners from realizing the potentials, and sometimes even provides a distorted view of competitive Puyo Puyo.

Many will attempt to be competitive and never quite reach the competitive scene. This is especially true in English-speaking Puyo Puyo.
