Sinoc's Factory 2 is the sequel to the first game, and like the original it follows a similar style of Columns. There are a few differences though. It was written in 2002 in Visual Basic 6.

Graphics and Effects

Sinoc's Factory 2 used almost the same graphics as the first game, although it had a larger variety of boards. The boards were custom made and used sprites from a wide variety of games. The music was from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Beta, and is included in the public release. There are 3 different versions of each track. This is explained in the gameplay section. The status was again shown using labels in the center of the screen.

Gameplay

Sinoc's Factory 2 again only had a single mode, being a Stage Mode. The difference in this game was the introduction of "garbage" (Nuisance Puyo). As in Puyo Puyo, chaining results in Nuisance Puyo being sent to your opponent. There were some bugs in this game's nuisance falling and erasing, and it fell in sets of 6. The AI was a little better in this game but still easy to beat. The Stage Mode had more challenge though due to the nuisance elements.

Sinoc's Factory 2 features an Earthquake feature which causes pieces to be scrambled if the bar at the left (or right) of the player's field filled to the top.

It also features a "time warp" feature which caused time to slow down and speed up based on chains the player or computer would make. The player can speed up time with a 2 chain or more, while the computer can slow down time (The music also changes to reflect this). The advantages of speeding up time is that the computer places pieces faster and normally dies quicker. Slowing down time caused a lot of annoyance to the player as it also made the controls very unresponsive (however not intentional).

The last feature the game had was "Luck" and "Super Luck". A random number is constantly generated during the game, if it hits a certain number "Luck" or "Super Luck" is activated. "Luck" causes the Nuisance Puyo to turn into random colors, while "Super Luck" randomly changes pieces constantly for 30 seconds.

Sinoc's Factory 2 uses the same scoring system as Sinoc's Factory.
