Puyo Puyo Chronicle Sub-Quests
This page is currently a work in progress.
This is the list of sub-quests found in Puyo Puyo Chronicle. Most of them are repeatable, allowing one to earn the rewards again. You can only accept three at a time, so you must either complete or drop one from the Quest list to accept more. You can view the list of sub-quests from the in-game menu, or by pressing X on the World Map screen. On the World Map, you can quickly jump to the objective location of the highlighted sub-quest by pressing Y and confirming you want to go to the relevant location.
Certain sub-quests, including those that unlock extra characters, cannot be removed. These sub-quests will ask for a second confirmation before accepting.
Chests in the sub-quest exclusive maps reset every visit.
Grimp Town
Dangerous Mushrooming

- Defeat 3 Red Rammits
- Defeat 3 Grass Wheeloo
- Reward: 240 Coins, Rainbow Stone x2
The Singing Echoing from the Forest
Availability: Clear What's in the Forest depths?
Target NPC: Precocious Girl (おませな子)
Target Location: Secret Playplace (ひみつのあそびば)
- Find Harpy and defeat her in a Skill Battle
- Reward: 890 Coins, Rainbow Stone x5, Harpy joins your group
You cannot drop this quest if you accept it.

Availability: Clear Handle the Mystery Girl!, purchase a card from the town store's Standard and Premium tab.

Availability: Rank up Ally to Rank 4 and solve the anomaly in Grimp Town (complete Chapter 1 main quests)

- Travel to the marked location, then defeat Arle in the Tsu rule set
- Reward: "Witchcraft Scroll" card, 1180 coins, Ally ranks up to Rank 5

Availability: Rank up Lidelle to Rank 4 and solve the anomaly in Grimp Town (complete Chapter 1 main quests)

- Find Ocean Prince and defeat him in the Ice Block rule set
- Reward: "Wonderful Cherry" card, Rainbow Stone x6
Throwdown! The Heroine!
Availability: Rank up Arle to Rank 4 and solve the anomaly in Bleuo Town (Clear To the Blazing Town)
Target NPC: Master Senior Woman (マスターばあさん)
Target Location: Shirasan Glacier (シラサーンひょうが)
- Defeat 1 Aokacchu
- Reward: 1410 coins, "Steel Buckler" card, Arle ranks up to Rank 5

- Find 3 Secret Bugs
- Reward: 1180 coins, "Light Armor" card, Sig ranks up to Rank 5

Availability: Rank up Maguro to Rank 4 and solve the anomaly in Bleuo Town (Clear To the Blazing Town)

- Defeat 3 Sapphire Mecchans
- Reward: 1410 coins, "Circlet of Protection" card, Maguro ranks up to Rank 5
The Mecchans are Level 62.
Retty Town
The Lost Bespectacled Boy
Availability: Clear Fighting Queen of the Volcano

- Find Klug and defeat him in the Mission rule set as Ringo
- Reward: "Sealing Amulet" card, Rainbow Stone x5, Klug joins your group

Target Location: Showy Volcano (ハナヤ火山)
- Find Ocean Prince and defeat him in the Fever rule set as Yu and Rei
- Reward: 2410 Coins, "Flame Sword" card, Ocean Prince joins your group

Availability: Rank up Suketoudara to Rank 4 and solve the anomaly in Retty Town (Clear From the Volcano to the Desert)
Target NPC: Master Senior Man (マスターじいさん)
Target Location: Showy Volcano (ハナヤ火山)
- Go to the east-most part of the area.
- Reward: 1180 coins, "Iron Scythe" card, Suketoudara ranks up to Rank 5
The location is unspecified, but it will trigger a cutscene. This will fulfill the quest requirements.
Yellome Town

- Find Ocean Prince and defeat him in the Sun rule set

- Find Serilly, then defeat the following Spike Wheeloo x3 encounter
- Reward: "Platinum Pendant" card, Rainbow Stone x4, Serilly joins the group
