Primp (プリンプ Purinpu) is the name of the area where Amitie and her friends live. Primp is the entire region with Primp Town as its central area. The region is home to multiple landmarks and sub-areas that are explored in the games, novels, and drama CDs.
Other characters such as Lemres and Feli come from an unseen neighboring town, despite often being seen visiting Primp. It is also the current home of many major characters from the World of Sorcery, after being warped there during the events of games such as Puyo Puyo Fever and Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary. Additionally, it is the world Puyos originate from in the franchise's current canon.
Development-wise, this world was created to appeal to a new generation of players, as many fans of the Compile era were growing older by this time.
