If you're using NO$, go into the options menu and change the save type to "Auto" for DS saves.

Re: Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary Translation Patch
Thanks for your help, I am using No$, but I'm not quite sure what you mean.
Could someone post a screenshot/descriptions of their settings maybe?
Or prehaps refer to what "save types" and "auto" are?
Nevermind. I got it working!
Lovely!

On No$GBA, you must first select the proper save type.Chao wrote: Err...Either I got a bad ROM/Emulator, or the game refuses to run. On both versions(Jap and Eng) I get an error message about the game data being unable to be read, and it asks me to reinsert the cartridge.
Puyo 15th is 512Kb EEPROM.

That happens on some ROMs you put on flash carts too, it's bloody annoying.Chao wrote: Err...Either I got a bad ROM/Emulator, or the game refuses to run. On both versions(Jap and Eng) I get an error message about the game data being unable to be read, and it asks me to reinsert the cartridge.

What flashcarts? The SuperCard SD patcher works great, but you can't do DS Download and Play unless your patch for cartridge area rom loading (It's messing up the image that it sends to the other player otherwise somehow. Maybe they'll fix it but they haven't.)Dr Shaneman wrote:That happens on some ROMs you put on flash carts too, it's bloody annoying.Chao wrote: Err...Either I got a bad ROM/Emulator, or the game refuses to run. If you use a Slot-1, savetypes may be an issue, but i don't know how bad of one...

I wasn't on about this game, I was referring to some average ROM images that need to read the data from your DS like your name and stuff. Flash carts seem to mess that up and you can't play those games.nmn wrote:What flashcarts? Re: Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary Translation Patch
The R4 seems to do that quite often. It will think an English DS is Spanish, for example. Better carts don't tend to have this problem though.Dr Shaneman wrote: I wasn't on about this game, I was referring to some average ROM images that need to read the data from your DS like your name and stuff. Glad I didn't go with R4... I've never had a problem with that on mine.
I really should get a slot-1 of some sort though.

I just checked this, PPF/PPF2/PP15 all use EEPROM 64KB SRAM.nmn wrote:On No$GBA, you must first select the proper save type.Chao wrote: Err...Either I got a bad ROM/Emulator, or the game refuses to run. No, I mean, I think i originally meant to say KiB, or kilobits.
And I did, according to google:
http://www.google.com/search?q=512+kilo ... tnG=Search
Anyways this has gone far enough

Re: Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary Translation Patch
Before somebody gets confused:
Kb = kilobits (1000 bits)
KB = kilobytes (1000 bytes / 8000 bits)
KiB = kibibytes (1024 bytes)
Kb = kilobits (1000 bits)
KB = kilobytes (1000 bytes / 8000 bits)
KiB = kibibytes (1024 bytes)

Now I'm more confused. I always though kb was essentially KB, but it's not even an official representation. KiB I just plain screwed up.
You know what? This is just too damn confusing. I'm just gonna write it out from now on >_>
